Steeda vs. Bama Tunes...whos got the edge?

I am looking to get the Steeda CAI for my 2010. AM doesnt have it anymore so I'm going to get it from Steeda and it turns out they offer tunes. So after I felt like I had the answer. I now have another question . Who to go with and why? Please share your experiences!!

You really can't go wrong with either of these options. You're talking about two of the best tuners in the world for Mustangs. We've tuned more 2005+ Mustangs than anyone else in the world. We have thousands of very happy customers running Bama custom tunes. However, with volume there's a chance you could see a complaint or two pop up on the forums. If that happens we jump on it as quickly as possible and will not leave our customers up the river without a paddle. We'll always bend over backwards to make sure our customers are in good hands and are enjoying their custom tune.

For every Bama Tune we ask you 19 questions about your specific Mustang, including your unique mods and style of driving. This info helps us write custom tunes from the ground-up for your Mustang's mods that will give you the most horsepower that we can safely deliver. We're also constantly developing our tunes! Between our 14 different Project Mustangs and tons of street/track and dyno testing (on our in-house Dynojet 224xLC), we're looking for any minor tweaks to be made that can benefit you guys.

We also offer Free Tunes For Life. Anytime you add a new modification, want/need a new tune or just want to try a different option it's included. Just give the Bama team a call and they'll gladly hook you up! They can be reached at the contact information below in my signature. You can also hit me up directly with any questions you may have!

Who's got the edge? Bama and Steeda's tunes are very similar so I'd say neither (I have both). Just my personal experience.

I prefer Steeda because they boast safety and reliability as their priority in their tunes and I'm still under warranty so that's important to me.

Eventually I will pick up the Steeda CAI for my 2010 GT too, good choice.

You voided your warranty as soon as you put a tune on your car

Yes. It all Depends on your dealership. But the tune leaves a footprint in the pcm that can not be deleted.

Ford put out a TSB saying a aftermarket tune will void warranty. So technically it will.

Who cares about a warranty to begin with? If you are afraid of voiding it by a prius and get out of a mustang.

Steeda vs. Bama Tunes...whos got the edge?

I care ab my warranty. Why? Because it's free sh*t and saves me time. It would of been great on my last Mustang. I've brought my car in for warranty service three times now with a custom tune and haven't had any issues, my dealership is very lenient.

Yes sir lol. That's what I did. I promise the diamond pistons and Manley rods are a lot prettier than a warranty lol.

If your dealership lets you rock it then that's the way to go.

All u need if u want to stay NA. IS cobra jet mani. Stage 3 comp cams. Full exhaust. And e85 and you will hit 500 at the tirés with stock heads. For suspension. Just do lakewood 70/30 struts. And 50/50 shocks. Bmr springs. Bmr LCA. Relocation brackets. And Jpc adjustable upper. With a pan hard bar.

Warrenty

Your car has thousands of parts, mechanical functions. Your warranty is not based on ALL things, If your car has a problem or malfunction, and the malfunction is because of or based on the Tune that you put in, then your Warranty of Engine may be voided. If your Window motor stops working, your warranty is Not voided because you added a Tune. Tune has nothing to do with windows. That is just a Example. Only Voiding you get is with what part of car you changed, the not the rest of the Car.

Thanks for the input, I have an auto, so I have a bit more drivetrain loss. Also, the nearest E85 station is about 1 1/2 hours away from me, so I'm basically stuck with pump gas.

Really not sure why u post both of these. U tell him that he will void his warranty, insinuating it is a bad thing, then say how a warranty is useless.
Didn't recall him being very worried about the warranty.
Troy
OP...for the record, some of us like our BAMA tunes. Had many diff tunes and custom dyno tunes on many diff cars, and this one hangs with the best. 114 mph on street tires my first time out seems pretty good for just a tune with cai and axel backs.

How much more HP can rev auto get over bama? My bama tune made me 294 rwhp. My MPT tune made me 297 rwhp. The dyno tune operator said even him doing a dyno tune for me, won't give me more much more power if any. So, how much more you think rev auto can get me that was left on the table by bama and MPT? Now also I need the tune to be safe and not pushing the edge. I don't want my engine too blow up and rebuild bigger..

Also, what does rev auto change for a email tune?
