Gears

Should I get 4.10 or 3.73?

Also what's the difference between and H pipe and an X pipe?

How about some more information about your car? We're not mind readers.

I don't think that's the info he wanted. If it's a 5 speed people get 3.73 and if it is an automatic 4.10. But that's just in general. Do you dd the car? Do you bring it to the track a lot? Are you planning any f/I soon?

The x pipe is more raspy, and the h pipe is deeper like classic muscle car.

I love my 3.73s. I get a nice jump off the line without having to fill up constantly, and I prefer H-pipe because of the deeper sound. My buddy just punched out his cats the other day on his 03 GT and it sounds pretty good. I'm sure with an 04 you can find some YouTube videos to see what you like and don't like.

My suspension is stock. Would the h pipe fit in there?

The only h-pipe I know of is the one from Lethal Performance, and yes, it will fit. In fact, it will be better with stock suspension because it sits slightly lower than stock midpipe. Mine scraps over speed bumps if I'm not careful, but that'll be fixed once I get my longtube headers and have a shop modify my h-pipe from regular length into a shorty
