I currently have a 1988 mustang foxbody 5.0 lx. 5 speed manual with very little mods. Ran into a friend and he owns a 2001 mustang gt and wants to trade me for my fox at first i laughed and said hell no! haha... but then i got to thinking..Should I do it? He was serious...Please get into detail to help me make my decision! Thanks guys!

More than likely, there are way too many variables to this for a good opinion to be given on here.

I'm just looking for multiple different opinions with information to help me determine if I should keep my hatch or trade it.

Value wise if they are both in good shape and close to stock its pretty close. Drive his GT and see what you think I guess but yeah there are too many variables not known. I will say that if you do trade and then there is an issue with one of the cars it could suck friendship wise.

If your car has a clean title and its not a conversion v8 I would keep it. You can easly pick up a clean 01gt pretty easy. But if your looking for something different go for it.
