I love my v-6. You can get it to 270 hp naturally aspirated.

There are no dents or harsh body damage at all but the bumber, rear and front are in the worse condition they absplutley need to be repainted which will be no problem but the overall paint is just fadded with scratches here and there i believe it could be polished pretty good.

Besides the obvious clear coat failure on the front bumper, I see major marring and scratching on the front passenger side fender that I don't think a paint correction could fix. Maybe it'd make the clarity a little better/glossier but those scratches look base-coat deep.

Right... So I'd probably start with the paint. Find a local detailer and he/she could definitely make the best out of your current paint w/o having to pay $1,000's on a new quality paint job.

Idk if you saw my first post in this thread or not but seriously man before you do anything to make it look "pretty" I'd get all of the maintenance done first, unless you want a pretty car that doesn't drive and serve its purpose as transportation.

Yeah make it run good that's step 1, A reliable ride.

Step two is makin it look badass. The v6 has the exact same potential to look sweet as the GT does. Even ground there.

At the end of the day, your v6 will never be a v8. The sound and power from extra 2 cylinder can't be attained without that v8 engine. BUT the v6's can be plenty fun with a tune, CAI, short throw, some exhaust, and gears. PLENTY! For a DD an normal people that bolt on v6 is quick and fun. With mustang enthusiast, it's not. Like said above no one here will be happy unless u have a v8 lol.

Yeah my GT would walk my old v6.. But my v6 was still plenty of fun while I had it. I mainly bought the v8 for the exhaust... Mmm it's beautiful.

The V6 stangs are looked down upon but you can do quite a bit to your V6 and always make it look sexy. V6 or not, it's a mustang and that's where I applaud you. I drive a V6 and it doesn't bother me for the sole reason that I have an appreciation for the beauty of mustangs and not just the power.

^ this.

It all depends on your needs and wants and no one else. It makes sense, financially, for me to have a V6, but who in there right mind wouldn't WANT a V8? It's all about the numbers. I'd rather have my six and have money to put into it (and other things) and make it my own, rather than have a bone stock V8. If you can afford a V8 and do everything you want to do to it, go for it, but if not enjoy the V6 now and get a V8 later. There will be many more mustangs to come

Yes I agree. I will eventually upgrade to a V8 but for now I just appreciate my V6 because I have a love for Mustangs. Any and all of them. 😊

Exactly. I mean even from a just an HP point of view take a look:

2005 V8: 300 HP
2011 V6: 305 HP

Look at what happened in just 6 years. Now think about where mustangs will be in let's say 12 years, pretty crazy right? Enjoy the V6 now, make it your own and when the time is right get a V8 and turn it into a beast.

I don't think so, American Muscle has a bunch of stuff for 97's.
