Too tall for the Stang?

I'm 6'2 and barely fit in my 2004. How tall are you, and how do you fit in yours?

I guess one thing is that it's a stick shift, I wear 13-1/2 and I drive it with no difficulty now. It was a ***** when I first started though.

I have had plenty of tall people ride shotgun without any problems. Now fitting even normal sized people in the back is a different story...

I hear that! It annoys be that I have an unused backseat. The only people who can fit comfortably back there are shorter adults or kids, none of which I have. Rear seat delete kit has been on my mind since I bought the car, but on the bottom of the list for mods lol.

I question how tall some of you actually are or what kind of driving position you have.

I'm a legit 6'3 and 260lbs, I barely fit.

My shoulders are too big for the premium seats (common problem for me). The back of my seat makes contact with the bottom of the rear seat. My head is very close to the roof and I likely wouldn't fit if I had the standard hardtop, definitely would not if a helmet were needed.

Also, I wear 14/15 shoes and I think the three pedal layout is near perfect for me. I can sort of heal/toe this car.

5'10" - 165 ... There's a good 4 or 5 inches of head room left with the way I have the seat positioned.

Damn you are a big sonofa***** lol. I guess no SN95 for you haha.

As far as the original topic, I'm an average 5'11, 200lbs and I fit great in a Mustang. My biggest problem is the damn shifter reach in the 79-04 cars but I've fixed that with the steeda shifter plate that moves the lever back 2" without lengthening the shifts at all.

that's crazy cause I am exactly 6'4 3/4" and was 262 when I got the car and had plenty of room. I had to jack the seat up so my wife could see to drive though. You do know that the seat will go down closer to the floor don't you?

Haha .. true. The 94 is a pain in the back to get into. It's ridiculous, the car doesn't look small but it is. It's so tight it made my old Mazdaspeed MX5 seem roomy, and I could fit that car into my pocket.

My seat is all the way down with the front up just a little. I also don't lay down while I drive which I see a lot of people doing in these cars.

You can't lay down in a SN95 or you won't reach the shifter even with a handle extension like I have. Although I am starting to regret not getting S197 seats instead of re-covering my SN95 seats. My seats look killer but the headrest ends at the top of my shoulders lol. At least there is lumbar and solid *** support from the new foams tho...

But I agree too many ppl riding "ghetto fabulous" in cars these days. I used to be guilty as a teenager in my 1987 Oldsmobile Eigty Eight. At least I never riced anything out...

5' 10" 155 I sit pretty close to the steering wheel and fit just fine, but if I have a hat on it has to face backwards or it's hitting the ceiling. If I have a helmet on then I basically smack my head on the roof whenever I go over a bump.

I'm 6'3 325lbs and ride comfortable. The 94-04s door panel design makes them uncomfortable to me. The sn's are my favorite body style but I cant go back after owning two S-197's lot more shoulder room.

I'm 6' 01" and a svelte 300, once I'm in the car (having a drop top helps) I am fine. Actually more leg room than my wife's 11 Taurus imo. Now getting out can be a little comical.

I'm sitting at 5'10 and 175. No problems fitting in my '14. I actually feel a bit small for it occasionally. I'm not used to having headroom in cars after driving my '86 MR2 for almost 3 years. I had to gangsta-lean at auto-x events in order to get a helmet on, even then it was dusting the headliner.

I'm 6'2". It was the deciding factor when I made the offer to buy. Couldn't believe it has that kind of room and....an adjustable height driver seat! That really worked well.
