Help with timing chain and settings 02 mustang gt

Ok so I had to replace one of my heads, yeah I know I should have done both but working on a budget. My question is I'm new to all of this and I didn't set my engine to top dead center but I've marked the chain and cam so I know exactly how to put it back on but is there anything else I need to know? After I put it back on the exact way it came off should I then turn it to top dead center? I only changed the pas side head so I only took off one cam. I marked the top and bottom so I'm sure it will be where it came off. Any help at all will be much appreciated.. Thanks guys

Look up "how to degree 2V cams" on youtube or google or wherever if you want a dead nuts 100% way to make sure you are where you need to be.
