2014 V6 3.73 gear kit?

American muscle sells a kit for 280 bucks then they have a rebuild kit that is 107 do I need to buy this rebuild kit what does it do? I'm a noob

If your Mustang has a lot of miles on it then I would recommend installing the rebuild kit. However, if the mileage is low you probably won't need the rebuild kit. It's not a bad idea to purchase it and then get the gears installed. From there the shop can use some of the stuff if they need it. If not, you can just return the rebuild kit.

That's what I would recommend doing. Hope this helps!

You should always replace the pinion bearing regardless
