Upgrade exhaust

Hello - I have all stock in regards to my exhaust and I wanted to do an upgrade. However I'm not sure how to find out what size exhaust I have at the moment? Also, I'm going to do it all in piecework because that's the only way I can afford it lol. I'm going to start with the Catback exhaust, than do the rest down the line. Any advice or suggestions? Also, I'd like to make it like obnoxiously loud... Just throwing that out there lol

Stock size should be 2 1/4" and most aftermarket kits bump up to 2 1/2". Axle backs are a great starting point. Best bet to find the exhaust you like is to hit up Americanmuscle.com and watch their exhaust videos or head over to YouTube and check there.

I've been to Americanmuscle.com, I really like the Pypes Pype-Bomb Axle-Back Exhaust. But what about the Catback, should I do that at the same time??

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the catback replace the axle back? I believe that's how they're done (I don't know a whole lot about 05-09s)

I had to go do some research and yes you are correct... So I should just do the Catback, do you know of any good brands? I'll probably stick with Americanmuscle.com

I personally like the sound of Magnaflows and Borlas.

Pypes is a very low quality product and they use cheap 304 stainless. If its not 409 stainless, don't get it.

Agreed, it doesn't get much better. Dynomax Ultra Flows are badass sounding too.
