99 COBRA OR GT

what about a 99 Cobra makes it better then a GT ?
I see a lot of cobra's for sale for not much more then a clean GT would cost. I know its N/A but I would like to know why its a better choice.

The 4V engine is the big ticket. Bigger brakes as well plus it has an independent rear which is either good or bad depending on how you look at it. Cosmetically there are some differences too.

What year GT are you comparing to? If it's 99 vs 99 than no comparison. The cobra is definitely the way to go, as mentioned, 4V, IRS nicer seats etc.

I would also consider a Mach 1. Similar to the Cobra minus the IRS and has that b*tchin shaker hood..there aren't too many other factory vehicles out there where you can watch your engine slam to the right while banging thru the gears.

Actually in 99 the Cobra had regular seats. In 01 they had 01 specific seats and then in 03/04 they obviously had the Termi seats. IMHO, the 01 seats don't get enough love.
