Rear Damper Question

Quick question. I picked up an unused out of the box set of FRPP dampers. They are in great shape and look brand new. None of the paint is missing and the dust covers do not have any scratches on them.

With that said I noticed that they don't have any type of packaging material to keep them compressed and I can not find away to get them into an uncompressed position.

Ford Racing said there usually is a band and it should be visible, but I can't find anything. If they have lost pressure from sitting around is there a place I can have them taken to be filled? They should be nitrogen filled dampers correct? Scratching my head on this one, since they are basically brand new.

Thanks for the help!
