I never said it isn't possible to hit 200 mph in a GT500. Given enough room and time it's quite possible. But how often are you gonna get a highway shut down so that you can make a private 200 mph run?
I have a feeling next we hear of this guy, it will be on the news, in a bad way, either a nasty crash, or being hauled off to jail.

I mean, c'mon, it's in his bio. 17, and street racing is one of his interests... hopefully he doesn't injure/dismember/kill someone with his stupidity.

WOW!!! Be nice guys.................I can tell you that I did find "THE" car (pictures below) I wanted with the help of my 18 year old Son, regardless of all the brutality in here. He is actually pretty well rounded, has had a job since he was 15, raced Lemons, Chumpcar & WRL (still does), attends UTI in Houston and will be an intern at a local tuner shop soon. We should all remember the innocence and passion at this age, hell I still feel 18 and act like it sometimes too.

OH YEAH...... that is my 18 year old driving my 2014 GT500.

It's cool that you guys can afford to drive one of those cars and you feel he's responsible enough to drive one, but coming off like a pompous ****** over a few comments like he did isn't exactly how to get help on a forum. Bragging about trying to hit 200 on a public road is also pretty damn ridiculous and just a stupid.

Well well, I had no doubt you would reply........He was only defending himself against all the brutality in the last post and his comment was in reply to another member if you recall. Not sure why you took offense.

And you never thought about it? I am sure none of us have.......LOL. So now a thought dictates conviction? I wonder what you were like at 18...........HMMMMMMMMMM.

Someone close this thread before I drive by this guys house at 200MPH.

If you're going to quote peoples' responses, be sure to quote what your son said to warrant such responses:

"How about you quit assuming and stop talking **** on the forums *******. I'm not on my computer all day so I CANT reply as soon as a Response pops up.
Oh and the part about not looking? There is one in Floridia Georgia and NewYork for sale 1,200$ shipped to my door have fun with your weak 400-450 Horsepower while i go listen to the whine of my big *** supercharger when i hit 200mph on H99"

He was being quite childish in my opinion. And when your son made the 200mph comment, they responded like they did to try to nip that kind of thought in the bud. Could they have been a bit more tactful, yes. But the thing is, we take comments about street racing, reckless driving, and speeding very seriously on this forum as some of us have first hand experience as to what can come of such stupid and dangerous actions.

Haha I wasn't a pompous ****** who gets butt hurt over a comment if that's what you're asking

All I said at first was "ohh to be 17 again" and he seemed to take great offense to that. But I'm glad that dad is here now to defend his honor on the internet

We will watch the news for "kids rolls car at 200mph and has died"

Get real... I don't even think I said much of anything in that post but geez... You made yourself look like such an ***.

Hahaha. This is HILARIOUS! reminds me of well, me when I first joined, except that he actually had his dad defend him.

How childish, can't even finish what he started...

Again, the kid got butthurt and couldn't handle what he started. So he called in reinforcements.

Excuse me while I keep laughing at that...

Ok now. Mr. Whoever you are, tell your kid that it's plain stupid to drive 200 on the street. Also, good luck trying to get that fast, only Ford has been able to get to the claimed 202.

Blowing by someone's house at 202, yeah, y'all (yes, you, and your kid if he does the same) will be in jail for reckless endangerment.
