Picking up Wheels From UPS LTL Freight?

Does anybody have any experience picking up large/heavy packages from a UPS Freight location? Apparently I will have to go pick a set of wheel/tires from the freight location as they seem to charge an extra fee for delivery to residential areas...I'm not sure how I am going to even get the packaging/pallet over to my SUV?

Are the tires mounted? They shouldn't be on a pallet, usually you will just pick up all the boxes and toss them in the back.

The seller says he sent them in one huge box and mentioned a "skid". There are four tires mounted with wheels..Total 200lbs....Do you think they'll mind if I unpack all the wheels on the spot?

That sounds like an expensive way to ship things. Depending on where they have you pick up the package they shouldn't care at all if you open it there.
