Noobie very ratio question

I found my Window sticker online and it says my rear axle is a limited slip with a 3.15 ratio. I never see this ratio discussed in here. Is this a real ratio or a misprint? I'm sure I'm showing my newness tot his subject now. Is this a good ratio for tooling around the streets and racing around back roads and the occasional race against a Camaro?

The GTs only came with 3.55 and 3.73 as far as I know. I would guess that it's a typo.

Also, "racing around back roads" is still considered street racing talk which is not allowed on the forum, so please remove it from your post or edit it to specify that you are on private, closed-to-the-public roads.

3.15 is the default for autos. Somebody did a test and I think found 3.31 the best for autos but the difference was not much and not worth the price to swap out.

Automatic GT's came with 3.15's, or 3.31's. Manual GT's come with either 3.31, 3.55, or 3.73 from Ford.

What year are we talking about? I'm guessing a 5.0 auto because of the 3.15s... If so, leave them. Get a good tune, catback, suspension and bolt ons and you'll beat up on most Camaros.
