New cam came in

Well my e303 came in! I plan on pulling the engine in the next few weeks to do some upgrades; cam obviously, new heads, oil pump and pan gasket, and also replace all gaskets. So my question is has anyone swapped cams, and also what else do I need to replace for the cam to be good? All videos I've seen and literature I read makes it look painless. Thanks.

Cam, lifters, and timing chain... Pretty straight forward.
Just don't ding up the cam bearings while removing the old cam and installing the new one.

It should wake the engine up a bit!

Awesome!
Good luck with the install and let us know how it runs when you get it back together.

Measure for correct pushrods, new valve springs/locks/retainers if the heads are used?

Why are you putting new heads on a 94 Cobra? Stock ones went bad or something? They do not need new heads if the OEM ones are working fine. Easy to get to 275whp with the stockers and then just supercharge from there for more power and less money than a HCI.
