MyKey is BS....

I have a 2014 gt base model, I was playing with my setup and info..and somehow accidently activated mykey. now i don't know how to turn it off. i cant go past 80. which is plenty of speed, but then it messes up my music volume..which is driving me more crazy than the actual speed. ive read the manual, and its instructions doesn't add up to what i do..says press set up or hold reset till "clear mykey" comes along, but i don't even have that option. anyone ever have this problem? whats the solution?

U have to use the admin key to turn it off...which is probably your other key. You're supposed to have 2 keys.'

What Trevor said. Get the other key (which you should have) and follow the instructions on the manual. It should clear the other one.

I did this on a rental mustang once. Set it to 70mph and there was nothing I could do about it!

Haha. You shouldn't have done that. You should've done it when you where returning the car and set it to 40 mph or less haha!

You need to know the rules, to break the rules

Well I was car sharing with a buddy and I was going through the settings hoping to find an auto seat/key setting - where you put in the key and the seats adjust to how you want them. I just saw My Key and thought, that's it! It wasn't! 😏
