And in general one thing to remember is saying H/C LS1 is extremely generic. Depending on the size of the cam and type of heads you can be looking at a range from 400-600 HP for a street car without any issues.
400 - 450 whp is easily doable on any LS1. Once you get past 450whp on an LS1 with just H/C/I, you start running into driveability issues. 500 whp is possible but very rare. 530+ whp is unheard of on a stock H/C/I LS1 without either FI or nitrous
Hell, my Z28 puts down 430 whp on motor (nitrous tune) and 588 whp on a 150 shot. My car has about as big a cam as possible for a DD (237/242 .603"/.609") and a 6 spd manual.
I have been in bigger cam LS1's but they aren't anywhere near as responsive while driving on the street unless you're above 3,500 rpm. Also, they generally have cam surge quite badly from idle to 1,800 rpm. It can be somewhat tuned out but will not go completely away.
