What do my M.E. friends think of me making my roof black? Like a gloss black cover/decal on it.

Do it. A gloss black roof can never go wrong. It really fits all colors, in my opinion.

My 2007 Premium GT came with the Lumbar ctrl, TCS and Shaker 500 Stereo. But my Lumbar switch has stopped working, any ideas how to fix that?

I'm actually thinking of doing GT style fog lights in mine, because I don't want it to be exactly like my wife's with the pony package fogs. Picked up this today, since it needs a switch with the ability to pull out to turn the fogs on.

The leather seats and shaker 1000 says it is the premium. But the premium didn't give you all the upgrades. The Pony Package came out in 2006 and it included the fog lights in the grille, and has a different lower grille; it also has the 17" wheels. But although it is a premium, unless you added the Interior Upgrade Package you didn't get all of the items you were asking about.

The IUP gave the my color option, 6 gauge package, and different dash look. There were other things but I can't remember now.

In 2006 the Pony was loaded with TCS and ABS, along with the GT suspension bits (essentially it was set up with all the GT parts, just a V6 drivetrain). In 2007 the TCS and ABS became part of the "safety package" and the suspension wasn't the full GT suspension although it still had both front and rear sway bars. The IUP continued to be an option.

In 2005 the "safety package" was a separate order part.

Why thank you for that clarification sir.

My wife has an 07 with ABS but no TCS though I believe. I knew she had the GT suspension you mentioned, and I can tell a difference between ours.

What is this dash look you mentioned? I have what looks to be an aluminium dash with satin air vents instead of black. Is that the different dash?

That is the IUP dash - and you have the 6 gauge cluster as well which was part of the IUP. The base dash has black panels rather than brushed aluminum and black vents, and only 4 gauges (tach, speedometer, gas gauge, and I don't remember the 4th one)

The picture doesn't open big enough for me to see - what do the three buttons above your radio say (upper right of the middle dash)? That is where the TCS button should be and I can see they have writing on them.

Cool! I did not know all that. Because my wife has the exact same gauges, I just assumed it was standard. She doesn't have that aluminum dash though, hers looks like carbon fiber. I assume it's because it matches the black leather better. Different color schemes probably.

Only one button is a pushable button and that's the emergency flashers. The other two aren't real buttons. I recently had an 09 in my dealership that had tcs, and I saw the button you're talking about, mine just doesn't have it, not does my wife's.

My car has a group of three on the right that are info reset and tcs all were blank in my v6 then on the right you should have an airbag light blank button for tcs on off and hazards. Something like that at least lol

On the left I have setup/info/reset

On the right, I only have the center button and it's for the emergency flashers.

I actually have free access to car fax as I work at a dealership. I pulled a car fax on this car, it's enough to make you cry. Carfax does not tell you premium or not though.

I might have said right, I meant upper left. Grab the owners manual. Those three buttons say you might have my color. I don't remember if that was available on the 2005 or if 2006 was the first year.

Oh I know I have my color, I play with it all the time. This is my customized color. I go back and forth between my custom color, and all red.

For some reason I was thinking you asked about my color on this car. Must have threads mixed up across this and other forums. I didn't go back through the posts......relied on memory, always a dangerous thing!

Oh I already did for hers. It was kind of cool to see that her car was completed july 28 2006 in flat rock and shipped via train. Then to see the exact sticker, it's kinda cool I think. Man I wish I could pull one for mine.

Exactly, Marti runs from like '68 to '07 which would include '05s. (up to, not back to).
