College budget, high expectations

Currently I have pypes pype bomb axle backs along with pypes o/r x pipe installed on my 08 gt along with aftermarket 18x8 wheels all the way around and im looking for a few appearance mods that will give it my car a fresh new look... Upgrading to a staggered setup with bigger tires is an option but I'm wondering what other mods I can do to make her stand out a little more when it comes to looks Click image for larger version

Hood... some type of low profile spoiler like the 11+ stangs. Check out my pics I have the cervini ram air.

Definitely looks like the back is unfinished... I would think its a V6

Other than that looks awesome.. I like the silver/black look

Ducktail spoiler would look badass.

Then add nitrous. Having a car that looks fast is one thing, having one that is fast is even better.

This for sure, maybe a duck tail spoiler or something and it'd set it off just right

Should I get the spoiler painted the same color as the car or leave it black? I had debated that for a while

Cdc spoiler, raxiom 13/14 style tails and I think the retro 65-68 style headlights look really good too. If you have a spare $2k I'd do the gt500 front conversion lol.

I'd put it on in the black and if you decide then it's not for you just remove and get painted

Leave the spoiler off and spend the money on a California/Shelby rear bumper cover and the mmd faux gas cap delete plate. My buddie has a similar set up on his 08gt and loves it when someone thinks its a v6. Gives him an excuse to kick in the ole vortec sc.

Looks nice as it sits, but theres always room to make mustangs look better.
Maybe try some sort of gas cap cover and a tasteful rear spoiler to break up the constant color back there a little bit. Ive seen people paint the roof/coupe part of the car black and had it look excellent. Like from the top of the windshield back.

I'd go black.. keep your silver/black thing going..could even get carbon fiber wrap.. If you do a good job it'll look great.

my suggestion if you are deciding between painting the spoiler (or any add on bit) either black or body color is to pick body color. Then you can plastidip it black if you want but trying to match the body color is mostly a job for the pros. I'm sure you could pick up a painted OEM spoiler fairly cheap that someone took off to upgrade to the larger spoiler. I prefer the GT500 spoiler myself. If you prefer the black look don't forget the hood scoop

the s197s look good with the right plasti dip job too so that's always an option if you want a drastic look change for cheap that's reversible. Being reversible is a HUGE part of how I decide which mods to do.
