Update On My First Mustang After Fifty Years Of Chevys

I took my 2004 GT to my friends Rod Shop Monday morning and this is what will be completed by days end.
1- Last weekend my Brother and I installed the CAI, the trunk blackout panels, smoked head and tail light covers, vynel black Mustang letters on the back bumper and louvered quarter panel windows. The quality of the products are good but the double faced tape on anything that requires it is totally inadequate. If I had left them with the flimsy tape that came on the louvered, black panels. Head and tail light covers I would have strewn parts and pieces down the Florida air strip I am running on at the end of Jan. fortunately I had two rolls of Aotomotive Trim 3M tape on hand and corrected that problem.
2- Tower brace and welded subframe connecters installed.
3- Hotchkis lower control arms installed.
4- Rear gears changed to 3:73 ratio.
5- Offroad X-Pipe installed along with low restriction Magnaflow Mufflers.
6- I will take my friends 07 Shelby GT 500 back to his shop this afternoon, pay my bill then bring my GT home and install the Bama tuneup this evening or tomorrow morning.

Been a good week, a man is coming in the morning to buy my 55,000 mile 03 SS Silverado truck with 500+ HP up for pretty big buck, sold three antique Colt Revolvers to a man from San Diego. Now. When I sell my Competion Yellow 95 Corvette I might just go ahead and install the Supercharger now instead of waiting until next fall.

Hey V6 Stang, because multiple strokes I had to relearn everything but a problem I still have a problem with is comprehending written or verbal instructions. I have spent sometimes an entire night trying to post pictures on other forums. and placing pictures of Colt handguns that I have for sale. I can email pictures however, if you would post some pictures for me I would appreciate it. If you will do this for me I would need your email address. If you had rather not no big deal and I will understand. Your call!
Thanks,
Garrell

Oh I'm so sorry! It always makes me sad when I hear these kinds of stories because there's not much you can do about it. I would love to see your GT's pictures! I'll send you my email address through private messages. I'll even post them for you on here so everyone can see your beautiful mustang, if you would like.

Alright guys I got busy and then totally forgot about posting his pictures so I gathered them today, converted them, and now posting for Garrell (Landspeedracer).

I would like to show off his beautiful 04 Mustang GT first

Next are his other Chevy's that he owns and was talking about. I will copy and paste what he sent me with the pictures.

I thought I would send you pictures of some of the Chevys I now own. The SS
truck is going to go as well as Competition Yellow Corvette to pay for the
Mustang and the go fast goodies.
If I can find them I am going to send three or four more pictures, if it gets to
be too much just say so and no hard feelings. You don't know how many times I
have heard " No Pics And It Didn't Happen ".
There is one in particular that I would like for you to use but I can't find it,
hope I didn't accidentally delete it.
If you receive these let me know, I can't find the pictures I sent you earlier.
Thanks for the help and don't forget stop when you want.

And finally, the last 5 pictures he sent over for me to post for him.
Here's what Garrell wrote with them:

Two Chevys I bought new, 69 Z28 and 67 SS 427 Impala, 4-speed,
4:11Positraction , Disc. Brakes, no other power option, no AC or radio. 63 409
Impala was mint, traded it even for a 93 Silverado Indy Pace truck.
Me and my good friend for twelve years, Jack Roush. I have 12 NASCAR Crew Member
Lincense that Jack got for me but I was honorary, I held down a Directors chair
in the pits on race day and hung out in the hauler or garage area on Fri. and
Sat. I was out of commission for two years with 100% memory loss and confined to
a wheelchair for two years. Oh, I am the taller one in the pictures.
I have silver Shelby Super Snake stripes to go on the Mustang along with Rocker
stripes, blackout trunk panels. Black Mustang bumper letters for the rear, a
rear black valance decal, grille delete kit and I think I earned one little
Cobra for the grille delete.

I hope you guys enjoy it seeing these nice vehicles as much as me. Garrell really seemed to want you guys to be able to enjoy looking at them!

Thanks for a great job with the pictures. I guess other than my family the thing I am most proud of was being friends with Jack and walking in and out of Mark Martins and Greg Biffles transporters which Jack kind of used as headquarters on Race week. I was at two 24 Hour Of Daytona'S where Jack's cars finished 1,2,3 and it was his 10TH year in a row to win his class. I think he had Road Racing and reliability figured out to a T. Met lots of celebraties and drivers that would later become big time race stars.
I have thousands of pictures that I took at races from the pits on race day to the garage area. I am also proud of setting six Landspeed Records after I got out of a wheelchair for two years. I can't remember it but I have a video and my Brother was with me but I drove sixty laps around Atlanta Motor Speedway with no pace car setting the pace. I did a ride along in a Corvette to learn the best way around the track and where to make entrances and exits at the corner turns. At the end I was turning laps of 170 to 175 MPH.

Oh man! I'm a huge Mark Martin fan! Still wear his Pfizer Spring jacket and Winter coat daily!

One of the best drivers to come so close and never win a championship, what 2nd place two or three times and once because of a points penalty over a trumped up call after winning a race running a part they had ran for several races and NASCAR approved until he won a race. Lost the Championship by maybe twelve points?
