Totally worth it.
If you are doing a forged bottom end there is no reason NOT to do it.
The extra inches adds HP and the extra throw on the crank adds torque. win-win.

I did a whole motor turn key from JDM but you can get kits or short blocks from JDM or Ford Racing and they aren't that expensive. Plus you know it's done right.

This is the short block I have:
JDM 302E 2005-2010 3V Mustang Short Block Motor - JDM Engineering

This is the FRPP:
5.0L Modular Stroker Shortblock By Ford Racing

The JDM has more stroke and the FRPP has less stroke and a little more bore.
I'll take the extra stroke personally, but either way you can't go wrong.

It was about $150. Install wasn't too bad. Just terrible instructions on how to mount it so I had to get creative. Other than that, super simple. I love it, it's worth 150 bucks not to gouge up or smash your jumper/chin splitter.

I dont know what her deal was, i had a great time haha. I got to go to the casino, walk around the french quarter, do some tours. I had a great time

Haha, sure why not. The local Mazdaspeed group i used to be a part of has monthly meets. Install meets, bbqs, cruises to a lunch place ... basically just a chance for people to hang out and meet each other. Granted, the mazdaspeed community is significantly smaller than the mustang, it could still be a neat thing.

This is the kind of thing I love to see. Its always fun seeing someone tear apart the old car and make it something new. How rough of a drive is this car with all of your suspension mods that youve got there?

Its great as long as you stay away from the bumps.

You have more suspension work than I do. But I wonder how mine compares in bumpy roads to yours, since you have pro kit springs and I've got coilovers (375# front, 250# rear). It definitely sucks on bumpy roads that's for sure. Still trying to find a way to get my Torque Arm to not bump my exhaust all the time on bumpy roads, that annoys me the most.

Probably have to find a way to stiffen up the exhaust or have an exhaust shop re-route the to allow for more space
