Nobody does gears in KC Area?

I ordered an 3.73 gear kit for my 2012 Ford Mustang.....I do not have the tools or the skill to do it.......figured how hard would it be to find a mechanic to do it.....most common response..."We don't do those types of installs...we do not want to be responsible for any racing rear end, thanks for inquiring with us."

The one place that would do it was Ford dealership only if I bought from there and it would be around 1100.

Stuck with stock gears for now

Try contacting Schorr Transmission in Independence, Mo. They installed 4:10 gears, HD axles and an Auburn Pro differential in my brother's 98 cobra many years ago. They are also Ford drag racers, so I'm sure a coyote gear install is something they can very easily handle.
