Wow.

So the guy answers one last time and I ask if he's Dante, he says no this is Jose.

I say w/e, we have this situation and he says no no no, you're confusing me with HIDGUY.com, not HIDGUY.net. I say there's not .COM, there's only .NET.

Whatever, I hang up and search, "HIDGUY Jose" on google and guess what pops up.

Excuse the language but ***** LIARS!!! Sick and tired of this BS.

I'm 99% sure this is his cell, so I'll just keep calling until he decides to be a god damned adult.

Research pays off. Here are the 3 members of HIDGUY.Net.

Dante Powell - https://www.facebook.com/Danttizzleee - Looks like he owns the business, can't be sure though.

German Robles - https://www.facebook.com/ggrobles83 - Never heard of this guy before but looks like he works there.

Oscar G Ruiz - https://www.facebook.com/okalf.le - I've talked to this guy before and he was a good guy. Good at answering questions and all but he doesn't take care of this stuff.

I've sent them messages in the hopes that one of them have the balls to act.

So what website did you order from exactly? I'm getting confused with the 48 million different 'hid guy' businesses.

Messaged each of them about the situation in case Oscar/German wasn't aware.

---------- Post added at 06:55 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:54 PM ----------

I ordered from this one Shop By Vehicle - Ford - Mustang - HMS (HIDGuy Mod-Shop).

There's no other hidguy.com or any other site similarly but there IS another Facebook page "The HID Guy". That's not the right business.

Today is holidays in the U.S. He'll be calling the courts there tomorrow.

Bank is still looking into it. They're a bank so, snails pace there.

I'm recruiting other people who have had similar issues so we have even more concrete evidence. I'm already 99.9% certain we have this case with just my dealings with them, but with everyone else we should be good.

I'm not sure what the limit is for small claims but if we have enough people and outlying product, we may be able to move up and enforce the payment.

Glad I ran across this thread. They just lost all of my potential business. From looking at the progress of this thread, it looks as if HIDGuy is slipping into the realm of a full-on scam. Good ****ing riddance!

That's hilarious!!! I mean we already knew he was but that makes it even better. Sounds like you might want to get a job at McDonald's HIDGUY, this way you can start paying people back.

Yeah... it's too bad, I was really looking forward to eventually purchasing their HID headlight and foglight housings for my 08 Mustang. Obviously I couldn't do that until I first received my LED turn signal housings, which never came 5 months later now. At first, they were actually helpful in taking my phone calls and messages before I initially placed my order. It seems that they got in way over their heads and probably got a lot of orders they couldn't fulfill. I wonder what they did with all that cash, was it poor management or did they just pocket it at this point? It doesn't even look like they are trying to take any responsibility anymore. If this is how HIDGUY are going to treat the people that put their trust and their hundreds of dollars into them and their company, well, I really hope we get these guys shut down. How stupid do you have to be to think that someone will spend $1,000 on your lights and not do anything to retaliate when you don't give them anything in return...

Kustumb, thank you for taking action against them when none of the other scammed customers would...

I think that we should spread the word to other forums (not just Mustang forums)... there's a lot of potential people that could get scammed if we don't. I think that HIDGUY was even a supporting vendor on some forums from some of the old posts I read around online, not sure if they are currently.

Or he's finally realizing "oh **** I'm going to be subpoenaed if I don't get my **** together". If he does ship a bunch of stuff out that was on "backorder" I bet its half assed and **** quality because its rushed.

HIDGuy if you are reading this thread still, hope you had a good time spending all that $$$ you got from all these people who have nothing to show for it. I hear that fraud can=jail time... Those damn laws and all...

Hey Daniele,

I'm organizing the legal action on this.

Please private message me images of your order and any communication you've had with them.

If you can explain the situation on this forum too that would help everyone see (including HIDGUY).
