Private message him all the details of what happened to you. Screenshots of receipts, order info, all that. He is trying to get a pool of information together from everyone who got scammed because if he can get enough people on board, the judge can force payment.

Kustumb, I'm sure people are going to be joining this forum specifically for this thread but be careful about giving out your personal email. I'm sure HIDguy has it all anyway tho although he pretends not to...

Hey Daniele,

I'm organizing the legal action on this.

Please private message me images of your order and any communication you've had with them.

If you can explain the situation on this forum too that would help everyone see (including HIDGUY).

I think I've figured it out! HIDGUY just can't afford to mail all this product he has "ready to ship" lol. It's the same song and dance every time. Jesus. What a loser.

Holy sh*t this is bad.

Lesson I learned = don't f*ck with the wrong customer, better yet, don't f*ck with any customer. "Bend over backwards for them"

You guys just have to get Instagram famous and then you might get your products! I'm sure this guy only ordered his set of Hids last week! He'll actually talk to you too if you have 5000 followers...

I'm thinking maybe this guy is just crazy. Kind of like the Soup Nazi from Seinfeld. Once you agitate him in the slightest it's No HID's for you!.......no refund either!

All,

Working on this actively, I'll have more news in the coming week.

I have contacted consumer affairs and the small claims court in the necessary region. My lawyer has given them the required information but it's holiday now.

Enjoy your holidays, I'll update as I know more.

Thanks.

After reading this thread for the past week, I almost feel anyone who actually "say" they've gotten their product and were satisfied isn't legit. This guy has got to have gotten away with thousands of stolen $$$ over the last few years.

Well im another sucker i guess....

I made a $500 order late Sept '14. For some LEDs and Front Bumper Switchback lights + rear bumper smoked strip lights.

I was at first in touch with Brody who always got back to me and stated eitther they were waiting on new parts or 2 weeks away. He left in Nov.

From that point i had no communication via the 'team' email address. So i phoned up. Spoke to Dante who said same as Brody. I asked for a partial shipment of what was available and to be fair he did mail the cheap LEDs for dome light/trunk replacement in early January. Not the 2 expensive items.

Unfortunately since then ive had zero contact.... No response to emails etc. in the 'about' section of the website it states if u ask a question via your account you will get an answer as the phone is on a call back thing. Still no response there either.

If im honest id still accept the items as i liked them a lot but 7 months and nothing to show and no contact is a joke.

Its sad to read on here that if you are some instagram hero your order is prioritised over others.

Obviously i could never recommend this company to anyone.

Damn, I'm sorry man. This is really crazy! They are doing the same thing to every customer and they keep getting away with it! They have some cool products but I just want a refund at this point; even if they were to ship the items out, what if you have a problem with them later on down the line? You could be sure that they would never honor their warranty on your lights.

Could you screenshot your order info and messages and post them on here?

I suggest that instead of hiring a lawyer you consider using a baseball bat.

legal reasons compel me to type "just kidding"

Calm now.

Lawyer is already in play. The additional people that have stepped forward has definitely made this case easier and larger.

I'm still surprised HIDGUY is willing to let this go so far. It's ridiculous. Even if they change the business name, this will follow them as people and won't be limited to their business name or whatnot.
