Love that hood. Currently deciding between that and GT500 hood which would be about $200 cheaper.

I was debating between the Cervini, and the Harwood. Cervini offered pre-painted, Harwood did not. That was the deciding factor for me. I didn't want to hassle with a body shop.

The GT500 hood looks damn good too. Can't go wrong with Cervinis either and the pre-painted option... Would be dicey if it wasn't Cervinis but Cervinis stuff literally is bolt on in your driveway and go. No sanding out waves or ****ing with bull**** like that.

That looks great. If that was pre-painted it looks like it matched up in color just right. This forum might get expensive to stay on with all these ideas I keep seeing.

More pics! I like it it. I wonder if there's a way to implement the slats in the oem hood as well. What material is it? How much?

Thanks guys, it's fiberglass. Cost me just a bit over $1000 preprinted. Cervini matched the paint spot on!Click image for larger version

They look great. You didn't happen to weight them did you? I'm wondering how they compare to the Brembo wheels in the rear.

Next question, are you comfortable using the factory latch vs. pins that many aftermarket hoods suggest?

I am really loving that hood and just waiting until I get my wheels before I decide which way to go on the hood.

Yes, I have full confidence in the latch. This hood has some beef to it, and isn't flimsy at all up front. I think it actually feels heavier than the factory hood. It closes and latches firmly.

Best looking hood for our cars that I've seen. Those dark stainless wheels are also the best color option for SGM that I've seen. They look so much better than the black or charcoal wheels with this color car.

I love my Cobra R hood! It's a great hood man, you can't go wrong! Can you take a picture underneath?

Nice! Is it glossy? I can't really tell. The reason I asked is they painted over the black on my hood.

Don't you just love it?

It's smooth, but it's more of a matte finish.

Yes, I do love it!

Could you use aftermarket hood struts like Redline instead of the hood prop?

I had the Redline struts on my factory hood, but I couldn't use them. They used a hole that was already in the hood from the factory. The Cervini didn't have the holes for it. You have to use struts that have an L bracket that bolts to the hood. Cervini does sell them, I just haven't bought them yet.
