02 Mustang gt loud plane noise

So the other day on my way home from some shopping with my wife there was this weird noise like if an airplane was passing by but it didn't leave and persisted so I pulled over and I noticed it coming from under the hood so I shut the car off and turned it back on the noise kept going so I decided to to it home and check it out but as soon as o accelerated the noise started diminishing and I pulled over again when I noticed it completely gone and it was gone so it stayed normal for awhile then earlier on my way to work just when I arrived the same thing happened and the noise was less than before but still loud so I went in to work and then on my way home the same thing the noise was there and when I accelerated to go it started to go down(noise) until completely gone.... So my question is what could possibly be causing that noise
BTW I need to replace the serpentine belt
Specs 02 Mustang gt 4.6

So idid some snooping around under the hood and I noticed wasn't looking in all the right places and when I looked down to the belt I noticed a pulley not moving and it's the ac compressor so I searched online and found that the ac pulley bearing might be the problem or the whole ac compressor

Sounds like that is the problem. Bad clutch assembly on the compressor or something internal jammed. If would fix that ASAP or you may strand yourself on the side of the road.
