Need your help guys. Please.

First off, Hey! New here and could use some help.
I recently purchased a mustang that had been crashed and thrown into a auction.
After finishing all the repairs and all, I have one slight problem. I hope its slight. When I'm driving the car when i turn right 7/10 times i hear a semi loud popping/click noise. At first i thought it was a strut/coil because it would happen when I would pull into drive ways and little imperfections on the road. After messing with it a little more I got on a open road and went about 10 mph and started turning the wheel all the way to left and all the way to right not too hard, and i didn't get any noise. I then did the same, but i jerked the wheel a little harder and every time i went right i got the click/pop. I know its almost impossible to tell over the internet but two mechanics have said Ball baring, strut, maybe strut tower or coil. My first thought the strut and maybe the rack and pinion as well, but I'm guessing I may have to start replacing here and there and see what happens. Thanks.

My initial thought was lower ball joint. Can you jack up that side and try to move the wheel by hand (side to side, up and down) and see what causes the noise.

Or.........find a dealer that's doing a free vehicle inspection and let them diagnose it for you, then decline the repair.

I know the earlier s197's had issues with the strut tops popping. Might want to look at those.

I'm going with the upper strut mount.

This could be a good chance to upgrade to the GT500 strut mounts if it is a newer mustang.
