Can my 2013 V6 do burnouts or get tail happy?

I have a 13 v6 with performance package (3.31 gears) auto transmission. I was wondering how to do a burnout or chip tires in it as well as making the car go a little squirrly

Well one way to find out!

In all honesty, get yourself a tuner and a 91 or 93 octane tune and you'll probably be real happy with your ride.

try pressing the t/c button 1x or then try holding it for 5-6 secs with the brake (foot) on. see it that will let you. I remember 2013's and up Ford programing the car so it wouldn't but try those.

looking to buy tires?

I just bought brand new Goodyear eagle F1's. Would just a quick burnout mess the tires up?

Not a quick one but I would not make a habit of it. More fun to actually hook up and accelerate.

it's fun in a Walmart/Trailer park kind of way. As Scotty said short ones won't kill it but it does not add life to them. I find it more fun to do it in friends cars as in "move over, let me show you how to do a burn out."

Eh, burnouts go in the same category as donuts... Fun when you are 17 lol.

Holding the TCS button won't do it. The programming has torque management and you can't get it to go above 2,000 rpm while doing a brake stand. It takes a tune to override the torque management system.

To turn TCS and advance track off on a 2013+ you have to hold the button down while stepping on the brake about 5 seconds. One push will turn off TCS.

Burnouts, donuts, fish tailing, getting squirrely and drifting are part of the optional "mayhem package" for the 2011+ v6. It's a standard feature on the v8 models.

Or reading the owners manual on traction/stability control helps too...

I have a 14 PP manual transmission. Once I turn off the traction and stability control, it's open season. Dump the clutch anywhere around 4k and it'll do whatever you want lol
