Powerstop pads and drilled/slotted rotors. Tried the Hawk Ceramics and they were soo loud it was embarrassing. So going with another setup this time.

Also have the aFe Pro Dry drop in filter coming in as well as an MPT 93 Race tune.

Nonetheless, it is your first mod. I remember my first one I was excited. So good luck to you and now you will be heading down the road of modding addiction. lol

Haha thanks. Yea this is the first mustang I've had that's worth modding and I need a new hobby so I can see the addiction aspect starting, The hardest part is deciding how I want it to look now that I have the sound I want lol

Whatever road you go down, it will definitely be fun. For example, I am on my 2nd modded Mustang and currently over $10,000 has gone into modding it. LOL. And I am dropping about $4,500 to supercharge it this fall. IT IS AN ADDICTION!

Damn that's crazy. Do other parts have to be changed when adding a supercharger? My brothers friend has an 08 gt and he supercharged his and blew a hole through the engine block and blew out his transmission but both times was told his car wasn't rated for the amount of power coming from mods

It really comes down to tuning. If they set the tune for too much power outside of a safe number vs his mods, and he dogged it (or not), then yes it will wreck your engine and trans. But with low boost on a stock motor, it should be fine.

Like for me, my engine internals is stock and I will only be running 7-8 psi. For your year it might be a tad different, but if you go with a light setup, I imagine you will be fine.

It is when you get a bigger pulley and such and up the psi, is when you need to rebuild stuff typically. Remember a good tune is VERY important. I would only recommend a Dyno tune myself.

Oh I see. Yea I don't think he had a tuner. I'm good with a stock v8 power wise for the most part but I'd like to save for a supercharge cuz I only have the 4.6 and just to say I did it I guess lol

Well a tune will give you a nice boost. Check out MPT or Bama when you have a chance.

Once again posting. I just ordered the Modular Airaid intake tube for the 11-14 V6. I used the July Sale code for $15 off any purchase of $100 or more. So I got it for $91.

Does that still work with the procharger setup?

I also have the aFe filter and Airaid tube on my 2014 V6. Throttle response is just as good as with the Airaid Synthamax I had. Imo, it is better. Cost over $100 less and the airbox keeps some of the unwanted heat out of your intake.

I too have the AFE drop in filter with an AirAid MIT. In hot FL weather it does keep AIT much cooler than the Airaid CAI. At 60-65mph, IAT is at or 2 degrees above ambient.
I like mine.
