cheap low cost filter is chap &low cost for a reason.

Spending an extra two or three dollars for a Motorcraft or pur-o-lator is well worth spending.
A cheap filter is just that."CHEAP"
If using a good semi-synthetic oil and changing it every 5,000 miles and you drive 15,000 miles in a year your only spending about $6.00 more to use a good quality filter." IN A FULL YEAR"DUH!

Don't scare me...

The car is running super fine and smooth now, between my long trip and hard driving and idling at traffic lights in the extreme Florida weather for 6000 miles, I just think it all burned away normally.

So an update... one of my rocker roller arms got all wobbly on me, the roller got worn out and the engine made a bad ticking noise. I thought my engine was toast and I spun a bearing or something but after watching a few youtube vids, I realized what the problem was and sure enough, there was a loose roller that was all black. Luckily for me, my camshaft was already in the correct position for my to pop it out with a screwdriver and pop in the new one! Ain't no one got time for a $130 valve compressor tool lol
