Can a bama tune get screwed up?

I have a bama tune on my 2011 gt auto. I've used the race tune since the day I got it. About a week ago I decided I would check out the other tunes. Can't say for sure it was the same day, but around the same time my transmission became both vague and jerky. Car seems not sure if it wants to shift or not and then slam into a gear. Sometimes it feels like it in the wrong gear all together. Reset the tune no luck. I know the tune does affect shift patterns. Should I start there or am I barking up the wrong tree? Should I be looking for a transmission shop? Car has 60k gently used miles.

You say you, "Reset the tune no luck".
Did you try going back to stock?
EDIT: Isn't transmission under the 6 year power train warranty?
Oh yeah 5yr -60K mile warranty.

Flash it back to stock and see if the problem resolves itself. If it does you know its the tune.

Mike from Boyton? Alex that used to live in West Palm. Hurricane Alley still down there? That place did me solid in the past

All jokes aside I'd like to get you in touch with one of the Bama guys because I'm curious when your last revision was.

I've said it up and down MustangEvolution that Ford's auto trans is a little unpleasant in stock form, along with being tuned. I experience this daily on my "daily" F150 that's running a pre-loaded SCT tune along with my better half's car. (Focus)

Drop me a line with your contact information and the best time that I can have one of their tuners contact you and we'll see what's going on. I'd like to do this before you head up to Packer or Akers Ford.

Alex

Hey Mike - I just spoke with Paul at Bama and it sounds like you guys touched base and you're going to hit the dealer to see what's going on.

Oh, I got it now sir. Gently used. You drive it like my wife drives the Mazda Mini van. Gently. You drive like an old guy riding in a Buick Skylark. 10-4 sir. 😉

Well hopefully he flashed back to stock before taking it in...

As far as gently used... what the hell is the point of having a Mustang then?

My thoughts exactly sir. You drive a Prius gently. You drive a Toyota Highlander gently. You drive a Cadillac Elderado gently. You drive a mustang highly spirited. You drive a Honda Odyssey mini van gently.
