Reverse in manual transmission

We just moved to a house with a detached driveway in the back so now backing up is a necessity. My question is do you release the clutch fully while reversing. And how do you reverse slowly while the clutch is not pushed in.

Here's what I do. I dont fully let of the clutch if I want to reverse slowly. I only let it go if I reverse fast. Our driveway is narrow (almost exact length of a car) so I cannot back up fast.

Any tips? Tricks? Thank you in advance!

I guess you could drag the brakes a bit. I usually just get it going in reverse, and then throw it in neutral to coast out of the driveway

Just begin to release the clutch a little until you start to feel it engage and the car start to move backwards, then push the clutch back in and coast, using the brakes to control the speed...repeat as necessary.

my wife hates it when i reverse. i practically launch backwards. with my rear bushings as shot as they are, it actually takes off much nicer in reverse, lol.
