Probably THE best Ford Pushrod builder has stopped using stock 302/351 cores. Cited a 50% crack rate on the 351 roller blocks and the overall availability of usable roller cores period.
Just kind of an FYI for those out there looking at pushrod builds. If one of the best builders does not want to use 351 stock rollers anymore... might want to re-think if you have one. I am a member of another forum where he posts and says way too many of them are cracked at the head bolts and under the cam bearings.
Good excuse as any to go DART 363 I suppose...
