Just ordered new tire and wheel set

So after years of wanting new wheels I finally pulled the trigger on a wheel and tire set. I chose what I personally felt is one of the best looking wheels on the market for mustangs. MMD's! I absolutely love those wheels and that charcoal color. More than half the cost
of the Vossen wheels but same design and look almost identical.

I went with the 245 45 19's. Their certainly not 275's but will be a large difference in size from my factory 215 65 17's. Plus its a high performance summer tire and that's what I was looking for. I know there are far better tires out there but I'm not track racing and don't need a stickier tire. They have to be a higher performance over my all season Michelin T speed rated ties.

Also ordered front and rear power stop evolution slotted drilled rotors to complete the wheel look. Love how the slotted and drilled rotors look.

Thumbs up Tires and Wheels...

I thought you were going to order them on Monday-Tuesday after we had talked? Did you do a little more looking?

Should look great! I went with 20" Vossen's but I have not had the car back on the ground yet to see what they are going to look like.

The wheels you got look great. Just out of curiosity but since the MMD and your wheels look almost identical what made you choose your wheels for double the price?

I am from Canada and I paid in CDN$. 20x9 were $500 (AM $599 US) and 20x10.5 $600 (AM $649US). To me this was a very good deal for premium wheels.

AM prices before discount. CDN to US conversion $649 US = $785 CDN.

I ordered my wheels locally and because it was part of a huge shipment there was no shipping cost to me. I know AM ship US free but they charge to ship to Canada.

I can't believe you waited this long! Those stockers you had were the worst man. Your car looks much nicer with these. Nice choice 👍🏻

I couldn't agree more sir. Those stockers were the worst. I love how simple and subtle the MMD's are and at the same time change the look of the whole car and aggressive looking of it.

I think my favorite part about the wheels are how insanely easy its now to clean the entire wheel including all the way thru. I can even get my hand completely behind the wheel part next to the caliper. 👍

Thanks sir. I personally am not a huge fan of the caliper covers. No offense to those who do have and like them. I had painted them a few years back. Every year I touch them up and just a few days prior it was touch up repaint them time.

They came out nice but to be honest with you, I'm now thinking I should of just had my calipers powder coated bright red. Powder coating is just far more durable than the paint and holds up. Plus the powder coat looks far smoother when up close to the caliper. When using a paint brush to touch up, the paint never turns out super smooth.

I agree completely. I did the calipers on my 1st 05 sixxer and they came out awesome but didn't last for **** I was so pissed when they started flaking. I'd taken them off and wire brush cleaned the piss out of em and all then sprayed multiple coats but still didn't matter
