Driver side window won't move - 2001 coup

It would be awesome to get some tips or advice on this.

I drove home and attempted to roll my passenger window up but I heard something fall in the door then the window just wouldn't move. The motor still makes a steady noise as if it's tries to move something, but the window seems like its just off the track, since I can move it around.

If I remember correctly the regulators are cable driven. You likely have a broken cable. Time to replace the window regulator.

You don't say what year your car is but here is a link to the service manual for 2011 Mustangs is you want to investigate the problem yourself. Most of what is in this manual applies to all S197 cars.

Obviously it was much too early in the morning for me to be posting.

Read a lot of my posts. I am a pro at screwing up. In fact, I am consistent with my screw ups. I think I have a daily screw up quota to meet.
