What is this switch for?

So I recently picked up a 2012 GT/CS, looks nice. Has the Carbon fibre looking dash GT/CS label on passenger side airbag. The previous owner even placed carbon fiber vynal on the window switch located on each door, but there was this one switch on the drivers side thay doesn't function. I took off the control plate and saw it wasn't connected or wired to anything and the door had no wire or connection for this switch. I'm thinking this switch didn't come with this car factory and that the switch is for a feature that I do not have. Thing is after looking around I couldn't find out what it was for still.
Can anyone help me out?

It's for a convertible car to roll down the two lil Windows behind each door.

Using it shouldn't be too difficult providing you either get the wiring harness or can solder on a a short other harness. You don't want to have it hard wired and remove the ability to remove the panel without cutting wires.

The question is...
What would you use it to control?

Since its a window switch, it will have a two way power control, possibly a reverse polarity opposite directions, that is only going to make a circuit when you are pressing or pulling the switch.

Only thing I can think of is trunk release or you could get stealth and make it interrupt the ability to start the car without pushing or pulling the switch when you turn the ignition.
