which short throw to go with?

Ok so im torn on what short throw shifter to go with. I was going to go with the steeda tri ax because it seems to be really popular and I havent heard many complaints. However, after talking with several people here, MGW has been thrown around and it seems to be pretty popular also. I want to know what you guys think and which one I should go with. Also are they hard to install yourself??

+1 MGW. I had a Pro 5.0 and switched to MGW. I like the MGW better. You don't have to reach for any gears. Install is straight forward too. (For any shifter)

Re: which short throw to go with?

ive had steeda and mgw

the steeda is taller and positioned farther away from you but it is stiffer feeling, but more notchy, and it makes more noise

the mgw can be angled toward you, doesnt make as much noise, isnt as stiff, and is built better.

Either are good choices but after having my mgw and then getting back in a car with a steeda I was like WTF is this thing. Putting it in first was like reverse for me. (my reverse is all the way right and up fyi)
