Called Ford to see if they would fix my safety restraints and how much it would cost me. They would not fix them for free unless the car had an extended warranty. They required a whopping $160 per unit @ $85 an hour labor fee. Sheeeyat!!! That would probably end up costing a total of (lets say 2 hours of labor) $490. Nope, not going to pay that much. There has to be a cheaper way. Any one have some ideas?
you can get the OEM ones for 10% over dealer cost through a guy on another forum I know of, he sells through the dealership he works at (through the business (ford dealership) not just back door stuff) and is well known. Let me know if interested. You should be able to install them yourself.
