Well from what I have read in the corral some of these guys are over 700 on stock blocks and forged guts. And 30 lbs of boost of course.

If you were to supercharge that sixxer... would you go with an x-charger??? Or vortech?? I always liked the idea of "supercharger on top" but which is neccessarily better???

I'm going to order a kit in a month or so and I'm leaning towards the x-charger one but really don't know much about superchargers so I'm ope for input.

I have a question about the vortech, does it have that supercharger whine like the x-charger????? I love that sound. It seems like a clean install with the x charger any pics guys???

As for the different type of superchargers each one has benefits that the other wouldn't nessacerilly have. You gotta look on the sites and see where you have the power at in the rpm band.

I was watching some install videos of the x-charger and some dyno runs with it. It def has the super chargers wine and seems to add 85-120 rwhp but I just wonder how long my motor will last if I install it and how long its going to take to install. Also it comes with a 6lb pulley but u can go to 8 10 or 12? Not sure what it is exactly but seems like the larger lb pulley the more power it makes. So I guess I just want to know with a stock motor except for cold air headers and exhaust what is to much for the motor?

Re: hmmmmmmm

My vortech super charger is theV3 and it makes very little noise but it does have a slight whine to it just enough to know it's there.
