Turbo can make more power. But I like instant power sometime u get turbo lag. Turbo need more how to. Supercharger is almost like a bolt on type thing

Less engine damage. Easier install. Less bs to hook up. Supercharger all the way.

Re: hmmmmmmm

Supercharger install is faster easier and cleaner, unless you want that plumbed look.
Turbo's are more efficient with no parasitic drag.

A supercharger is probably going to be easier on your engine but it all depends on how it is tuned...

Re: hmmmmmmm

I say contact your tuner shop and ask them about both end results, what the driving experience was like, the differences, what they can do for you in the low-mid range rpm's.
It'll be a bad *** project either way.

Re: hmmmmmmm

I've heard turbo's lag when you step on the gas, have to build up the pressure for boost or something like that. My old roommates A4 Quatro had a turbo and when you'd put your foot down it'd take a sec before you'd feel the acceleration. Could be wrong just throwing out something to look into

Turbos take time to get spinning at full effective rpms while supercharger don't give as much but they are much safer and and there are different types of superchargers. I would go with supercharger.

A turbo is better for power output but you gotta have a built motor. Or kaboom

Very true, I'd rather be a bit annoying than be accused of being gay.

K ya it's true and why install a 4000+dollar turbo if your gonna put it on stock internals and only gain 80 safe hp. Or a forged motor gets 200+. Makes no sense

Well really all depends on the supporting mods... My 08 is up to 373hp now on stock internals but yea now I'm stuck until I upgrade internals or do meth injection

Even meth will put you over and your gonna snap a rod. I have an m112 that I am going to strap into my car but I am going to buy a forged motor from mmr. You cannot realize forced inductions full potential without them. I run a meth kit with my nitrous so I don't have to back off the timing and it gives me 100 octane. Eliminates detonation and I can run a 175 shot. I learned the hard way about forced induction. Is your motor a 3v I assume. With those heads and forged guts you could get 500 hp. The blocks can handle 800.

Re: hmmmmmmm

On the Roush forum I frequent, members say you can go to about 500 hp with forced induction without forged internals on a 3V but that is the limit. We are talking street engines with "safe" tunes...
