As I have stated before my dad bought an '07 V6 and has looked to me to gather info for him.
He has bought a dual exhaust kit but is still undecided on what to do about the bumper.
Fortunately or unfortunately the '07 V6 has a slight cutout above the stock exhaust pipe. And, from an aesthetic perspective, this doesn't lend it self to adding a dual exhaust easily.
Obviously he has some options:
- buy an '07 GT, California
Special (my vote) or GT500 bumper
- buy any other aftermarket bumper (cervini's, saleen, etc)
- do nothing (yuck)
- cutting the bumper for accomodate the exhaust tips
- add a valance to the existing bumper
His dilemma... he can't find any decent pictures. Obviously, we know what the GT or the CS bumpers look like, as well as other aftermarket replacement bumpers.
But, I can't find pics of leaving the bumper and doing nothing, leaving the bumper and cutting it or adding a valance.
So, I was hoping some members would have done some of these and could post some pics and explain what they did and how they did it.
Also, anyone deal with V6 Mustang Stuff - Performance Parts and Accessories
They have a rear valance but I am unable to tell exactly what is included: V6 Mustang Stuff: V6 Dual Exhaust Rear Lower Skirt, Rear Valance, 691566
Looking forward to some great pics!
