Paint job

I'm looking at a used 2006 that has some areas where the paint has chipped off. Should I get the dealer I'm getting it from to fix it or should I get it painted afterward? How much does it cost to get it painted? For a regular full body paint job & how much will it be for a little custom painting like stripes or other such things? If I don't ask the dealer to get the paint fixed I can haggle on the price. What do y'all think?

Here's the damage the dealer is showing. I have no idea which part of the car these are all on. I have yet to go and see the car. Have to make time for it.

Re: Paint job

with the economy the way it is, i'd haggle to have them fix it and also to get a cheap price. Most likely they are on the bumper covers which is an easy repaint.

Re: Paint job

I would haggle for the price to repaint it to be deducted from their price. That or have them do it which will be cheaper for them anyway.

Re: Paint job

I would just get them to take XXXX off the price to cover fixing. Get some estimates at local shops that have a GOOD REPUTATION and no BBB complaints filed.
