Re: Black racing stripes

yes I have installed them but I only put mine on hood trunk ond roof . I did not put on the front or rear bumpers . I think they look good and were an easy install you will want and extra set of hands and eyes . The longest part is finding center of car cause the width of the hood roof trunk are different . good luck

ive heard from many people that you do not want to install them yourself unless you know what you are doing.

The only thing bad thing about them is that after a while they crack from the sun.... I was thinking about doing that too but I decide to go with the painted ones instead.... But maybe it's cuz I live in Florida and the sun hits hard over here!

Re: Black racing stripes

i'll keep my opinion of stripes to myself but as far as doing it I'd have a professional do it. Its a lot of measuring and takes A LOT of patience

Re: Black racing stripes

def. have it installed professionally. it seems simple, but like mentioned requires a lot of patience. its just not worth risking it being done wrong.

Re: Black racing stripes

I'm in Cali and you can look at my stripes in my pictures. They are matte black vinyl and coat me $130 installed. They are great and I would recommend just trying to find a Vinyl shop and getting a quote.

-If you have any questions feel free to PM me.

Dang lucky son of a gun.....well I'm still happy with mine....whenever I get someone to do something on my Car I'd rather it be done exactly how I want for $100 more rather then be unhappy with it for less out of pocket.

Re: Black racing stripes

Curious as well, i think these would complement my red gt very well. A friend of mine installed them on his yellow gt and it looks perfect. We had two other people helping us so make sure you have a couple extra hands.
