08 v6?

This is the only pic given. Was in an accident in 08. Rebuilt title. Asking 9k.
20" wheels. 29.2k miles
Manual transmission

Contacted the seller. Was told Frame and apron damage from the accident repaired.

Waiting on more photos.
What d'you think?

Re: 08 v6?

well my 04 had some slight frame damage from a wreck as well and i can't tell a difference since it has been fixed as far as driveablity. of course body lines aren't 100% lined up correctly, but you have to truly look at the car close to see it. i would def do a test drive and maybe find out exactly what happened in the accident. 9k is pretty damn cheap for those low miles.

I'm also looking at this 06 v6. But it's automatic transmission and I'm looking for manual.

71.5k miles for 11k

I wouldn't get the auto if you really want manual. You might regret it.

Re: 08 v6?

as far as a better deal.. well under 30k miles for 9k or over 70k miles for 11.... i'd say it all depends on how the black car handles and such. if the damage hasn't affected driveablilty i'd go for the black one... if i had to choose between those.

Will there be any problems with yearly registration renewals if it's a salvage title?

hmm i've owned a salvage title vehicle before and had no problems however a friend of mine was telling me he heard that salvage title vehicles will no longer be able to be registered. not sure if that is present or future. and i'm sure any presently running vehicles would run under the grandfather law. and i'm not sure if its federal or state regulation. call your local dmv and they should have that info for you.

Re: 08 v6?

Salvaged title vehicles are harder to register and harder to insure, and of course harder for you to sell in the future. I say keep looking.

I didn't know insurance was a problem! Whatever I'm gonna get, I'll be using it until it falls apart.

Re: 08 v6?

i think i would stay away from the salvage title ones, not to many people will buy a car let alone a mustang that has a salvage title, and if you want a manuel and get an automatic it will never be perfect, i say keep looking and 9k for that mustang doesnt seem that good of a deal to me if it didnt have a salvage title it would be but i think you could probley get it down to 8 or maybe even 7 but like i said i dont think its worth it
