Mods?

i just got a 2005 mustang v6, it's the satin silver, does anyone know any cheap/free mods I can do to it, performance or appearance mods, pretty much just itching to make it different from every other mustang out there...

To be honest mods aren't cheap. I've done a few "cheap" diy projects to mine. Like painting the wheels, gas door, and GT emblems. Also depends on what ur definition of cheap is lol

it just depends on what it is, I'm thinking about painting my calipers, putting racing stripes on, the sequential turn signals, just simple stuff like that.

I'm getting ready to buy the turn signals. Love them!!! And have the stuff to paint my calipers! Just haven't had time to do it yet. I wanted to do racing stripes but that's way down on my list since they r gonna cost $500-$700. I'll buy my exhaust first. Check out the thread on plastic dip parts/paint!

mine had true dual exhausts on it when I bought it, but the mufflers restrict it an awful lot, so I hope to either put flasks ms on it or strait pipe.
I actually put racing stripes on it today, the vinyl ones, so I'll be able to remove them if I get tired of them.
I kinda want to do some interior dress-up too, but thatll be down the road.

Delete your cats if possible and run mufflers. You can get a tuner to disable the CEL that will be thrown by the CP2 sensor. Tuner is the best investment I myself have made. $380 but it wakes your car up like you wouldn't believe.

Go Sct without a doubt, and buy it off of American muscle for free tunes for life so when ever you upgrade a new performance part ,theyll give you a new tune to maximize the gain.

If you have the money to change all your inner cooling for that turbo build then I would suggest getting a procharger. Same price and performance without having to change stock parts you don't touch unless your turboing it

yea?, I'll have to look into that, it'll be a while in the future till I do it, but I'll still look into it.
I think the next thing I'm going to do is cut the mufflers off, or put glasspacks on it.

Cut the cats and run a 3" exhaust with good mufflers. The sound is soooo much better man. I also got the SCT tuner btw, still the greatest investment yet! If you don't get the tuner prior to throwing on your exhaust, you WILL get a CEL. Just an FYI.

I got the stripes at a auto zone near here, $20 for 24 ft of striping, I plan on getting it professionally done later.
and
it already has true Duals on it, so I dint really want to spend the money to have 3" pipe put on it right now, but I'll still consider it for down the rd.

Careful with the vinyl stripes, every time I've talked to someone locally who's had the aftermarkets installed, they always have problems with cracking & peeling.
