I gotta go to the bank and my moms drivin me in it to the local mechanic to see if anythings majorly wrong with it before I buy it. First thing I'm doing is changing the oil and saving for the repairs

Dropped a new engine in (along with every other goddamn part lol) and turned it into what it is today. Took like 8 months to be road worthy

mmm, i forgot bout the miles. unless thats your dream car, maybe you should take the time to look a lil. are you planning on modifying it? making it a four door street terror? if you are, keep in mind that 87 is a "speed density" car you will have to swap pcm's and add a mass air meter if u wanna beef it up anything past a cold air tube.

*update* the shop said the transmission has something wrong too. Whenever you hit 42mph in "D" it pops out and goes to neutral. In "d3" it works fine. Anybody know if this is fixable, and if so, about how much would it run me?

its possible u may find that stuff new, but most likely it obselete stuff (semi-easy to find). lines cost different amounts for different cars..its hard to say. u can get off for less than fifty buks though if u decide to bend and install the line yourself.

How hard is it to do yourself? There are a couple salvage yards around me I could hit....
