Re: What is the best mod to start

many ways you can go about it, exhaust (looks, sound, some performance), rims (looks/handling), lowering the car (looks/handling) or keep it simple and tint the windows etc etc.

Starting out with exhaust and a cai would be good to start out with. Plus both of them add power n add to ur overall sound. Everything that has been stated in this thread are good mods to go with just depends on what u want to focus on first

Re: What is the best mod to start

Do the CAI (cold air intake) first, then do a Perfomance Exhaust second, then if you can, do a Tune ex. (SCT, Diablosport) or whatever, You will notice a diffrence in performance after each of these changes. You will probably notice a diffrence in Sound too.

I think I'm going to start with a CAI and a SCT tuner and then maybe exhaust or
Gears. I have a 2005 v6 4.0L

Oh that is a topic that can't be answered by anyone other then your local ford dealer. It just depends on if they care who is paying them (you or ford) the money to do the job or if they want a happy customer. I am assuming you got a used engine and power train warranty, but what did they give you exactly?

Strut tower bar tightens up the feel of the car on turns. It connects the engine to the body so when your going on tight turns the car dosnt feel lose. It's a cheap way to upgrade the suspension

I'd go with the tuner with the Bama tunes so as you keep upgrading things you don't have to worry about having a tune since you already have one...like an intake for example...most require a tune

Honestly, I think tint is one of the best mods you can do... Keeps you cooler in the summer, adds some privacy, and just makes all the black trim look good...

Re: What is the best mod to start

tint is honestly great, I was ready to but i realized mine was tinted a lighter tint and now I am thinking that in order to get it done again it will probably cost me 100 bucks to get the original tint off whats the point of light tint its like going to the store to buy something and just leaving with a free sample saying that is good
