Re: Window louvers??

I used to have them on my 1970 Mach when I was a kid .......... you can see out of them just fine but you do loose a little visability though ....
and Spec they came on Mustangs first , NOT Camaro's LOL

Re: Window louvers??

Check out the louvers from SHR (silverhorseracing) they replace the 1/4 window glass, look good and you can see through them.

I'm not the biggest fan myself but the ones I don't mind as much for the quarter windows look like there isn't any visibility

Re: Window louvers??

don't really create much for a blind spot when you have blind spot mirrors attatched to your side mirrors

For the 2011 version of these you have to trim about a half inch of interior to make them fit. The only reason I didn't go with them. I'm not cutting my Pony for window louvers. I got the ones from DC and they work fine. My two cents.

I have them. A small blind spot if you actually look through them. I tend to use my side mirrors a lot.

There 100% not upside down seeing as it is impossible to do that, they could be on the wrong sides of the car though.

These are my window louvers. One of the sharpest little add ons I think u can throw on a Stang body wise. I have only had them in for about a week and single most noticeable among people.

If they are on the wrong side of the car, they are upside down too... And I think they are....

They are upside down and on the wrong side. You can tell by the front angle...it should be parallel to the driver and passenger window.

I like the side ones but not the rear glass. Since the 2005 mustang was replicated from the 67 the side louvers look really nice on the car.
After looking at some pics thee is a very good chance (99.9%) that I have mine one the wrong windows. I however still like the look of it. Give it uniqueness. Like my custom leather seats I am installing soon.

How can they be upside down? If they were it wouldnt be covering the window properly. They are just on the wrong sides is all

Louvers come in a right and a left. They are asymmetrical. The only way to use one on the unintended side is by spinning it 180 degrees. Hence, they are "upside down"...

Ok. Saw an EJ-BRKR. But in my rear view mirror. Same black on black louvres, and had 5.0. Didn't have time to look at the wheels as I was turning away.
