HIDs

I'm all new to "hid" stuff. Can someone please recommend a good HID system to put in my 2010 mustang. I think the light is a h-13. Also I'm looking for 5-6k

Re: HIDs

the only thing i can recommend is when i put hid's in mind it turned into a $350 endeavor the lights would flicker then not stay on die after like a min of running, tried the inline capacators, different bulbs, different ballasts, tried gimmy rigging things, plugged in a fluke and couldnt figure it out. finally after some googling, and asking my buddy back home i found out that some newer rides have thier wiring programmed to constantly check for floating grounds of sorts, and when it detects them they kill that part of thier wiring therefore id lose a headlight then few seconds later the other. the fix ended being as simple as getting a better set of ballasts, so id recommend looking for brands that others have used and have no problem with them.

Is this the set you all are talking about? http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/DD...ast-35W-or-55W

Do I get the h13 low and high beam. Also what do you recommend 35 or 55 watts. And do I need the HID harness, error eliminator, and adapter cables?

Low and high, you don't need the slim, the regular ones fit fine. And you shouldn't need anything other than the kit. This is what my order looked like. Oh, and do 35watt, I've heard of people melting their housings with 55.

(btw, the light bulb size was on an 04)
