The tuner will reprogram your computer so it runs differently. Get the race tune and you get improved throttle response, faster and harder shifting, and more aggressive timing. It will also adjust the air/fuel ratio if you bought a CAI that requires a tune. That's just a few things it does.

Hey welcome, now I'm not alone by being a newbie lol. I got a cut out on my exhaust and it is super loud! Doesn't have a deep rumble just the normal engine sound, I like it a lot when you reach about 3 thousand rpm because it screams at me. But it is definately the loudest option because it bypasses the muffler with the cut out. And if you get headers with it that would be crazy, that's what I'm hoping to get in the future. I have a buddy that had a 09 hemi like mine and my lil 4.0 is louder than his 5.7, he has a cut out also!

Yeah I didn't believe it either, but when it reaches the higher rpms it has more of a high pitch frequency so you can hear is over the kind of bass the truck has.

Yes. I'm a convert from Jp tuners. Honda civic type. Now I'm in rwd and the handle is noticeable but nicer. I would like to dip the front for an aggressive attitude but not bottom out. Anyone?

Hey beau I noticed there is a sct tuner that is orange white and black, then there is one that is red white and black. I saw a pic of yours the red one, what's the difference between the two?

It's really simple, as easy as plugging in an iPod choosing a song and pressing play. You plug it into the obd2 port under the dash on the drivers side. Just choose the tune you want and it will automatically save the stock tune and upload the new one. Follow the instructions on the screen and DON'T unplug it When you're done you unplug it and you're good to go. Make sure your radio and ac is off an don't touch anything. I just sit still in the seat with doors closed and everything off until it's done.
