Brake Calipers People.

What size are they? Stock Pony Package rims.
I want to order these carbon fiber brake calipers but want to make sure they fit, size is front 10.5 " x 3" (26.5 x 7.5 cm) and Rear 9.5" x 2.5" (23.5 x 6 cm)

I'm not a fan of the covers. You don't want to paint them?

I'd say if you can paint them then paint them!.. It's a little more time consuming but it does look better and is usually cheaper too!.. Just my opinion!..

They're actually the same price if not cheaper than the painted ones, if I don't do these ill just paint them black, but they would match my antenna.

Re: Brake Calipers People.

painting them is VERY easy, and a lot cheaper, spend the money you save on something better

Come on Jet, get those creative juices flowing! I wonder how hard it would be to grind the face of your calipers smooth and using an engraver to do something like your radiator cover! Now that's something original! That's something Jet! What do ya think?

I do have a dremel drill....
You know what I'm down ill research how I could smooth those down and how deep I can drill, sketch it up this week maybe just write "JetWolf" on the front calipers and 4.0 on the back then emboss it in red or chrome. Huh? Yeah?

Re: Brake Calipers People.

sand them down as much as possible before you paint them to make sure the paint sticks. mine are still pretty much chip free, and thats with a lot of track time aka very high temps

Re: Brake Calipers People.

White car blue calipers. Painted mine to accent the classic white & blue mustangs scheme. Was asked at a show & shine this summer where I got them! jack up the car take off the wheels clean and paint. I like the results!
Haven't added stripes to the car but if I did they would be blue.

Photo is up on my profile now, shows the Alaskan out doors workshop in action and the results. Note this is summer time! as the paint I used is brushed on and dries really fast I set up to do all 4 at once.

Re: Brake Calipers People.

DONT SKIMP! do covers... remember how we talked about all the small things that matter... cleaner, smoother, and something different. Do the covers because its what you came in originally wanted, dont settle for the easier cheaper route.

and I want carbon fiber, which will look way cleaner, and match the rest of the car, especially if I do end up getting zinc black rotors
